A few wee tidbits..

Tickled Pink now offers Gift Baskets!

I recieved an order for two -TWO- gift baskets yesterday afternoon. They were, "Whatever smells the best," the customer specified, for two older ladies. I don't do lots of florals or stuffiness, so I threw together, "The Strawberry Cupcake Experience- A Bath and Body Journey in Three Acts." With Strawberry Feilds soap, Vanilla Vanilla Soap, and So Cheesy lotion. And a sponge. The boxes, (They're actually oversized Chinese food takeout boxes,) smell AMAZING. I even got to break out my glue sticks and scissors and do some crafting to make the boxes pretty. I learned several things during this experience.

* Do not throw away the bottle you formulated your lotion in. Once it's reconstituted, you'll want something to put it in. Also, never ever ever pass up the oppurtunity to buy small, gift-basket sized empty bottles.

* Get a printer. Writing stuff out by hand is just takcy. (Note to self- BUY A FRICKEN PRINTER.)

* Do not handle boxes covered in ribbon, glitter, drying glue, and scrapbook paper. Just be patient and let it dry. It only takes two seconds to ruin three hours of work.

And now, without further ado...

Other then the handwriting on the label, (Ugh,) I think it looks pretty spiffy!

Once I get a couple of travel-sized bottles for the lotion, it'll be ready to go! These are 25$ each, and include two large bars of soap and one bottle of handmade lotion, along with a small speherical sea sponge to lather up with.
